An animation made in After Effects for my Motion Graphics class. The project brief was:
“ Choose an observable natural phenomena that has motion. Explore and study the phenomena’s
movement and then create a time-based
media vignette inspired by your observations
and research.”
So, my idea was to examine the sutle phenomena in my life and to exaggerate it using digital effects, a kind of analog and digital layering like in this video which was my biggest inspiration. I then had the idea to have one part as day and the other night, so the end result was one video that I split into two because they were so different from each other. I’d honestly love the revisit this idea of digital and analog layering in videos one day.
