An animation made in After Effects for my Motion Graphics class. The project brief was to select a short passage from Gertrude Stein’s Tender Buttons from either Objects or Food. Then we had to develop a vignette that visually interprets the chosen passage, using the words of the passage as a jumping off point towards a simple idea you wish to express.The vignette I chose was: “Winged, to be winged means that white is yellow and pieces pieces that are brown are dust color if dust is washed off, then it is choice that is to say it is fitting cigarettes sooner than paper.” That reminded me of the Icarus myth, so I made an animation based on the myth.
